Barbara McAfee

Barbara McAfee is a voice coach, singer/songwriter, keynote speaker, and author who believes that making sound together is an ancient and essential aspect of the human experience – one that offers gifts we can’t receive any other way. Her book, Full Voice: The Art & Practice of Vocal Presence, explores how to access the full power of voice in service to your best work and life. She has delivered workshops at national and international conferences and brings her training to professionals and leaders ranging from introverted engineers to church leaders to women executives. McAfee weaves wise and sassy music with practical content and has produced seven CDs of mostly original music. She is the founder of the Morning Star Singers, a volunteer hospice choir in the Twin Cities. A native Minnesotan, Barbara lives across the street from the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.
